This was super easy to make but I made waaay too much. I’d say cut it in half but. For the sake of a pretty picture I wanted to fill my jar. It also smells amazing like a strawberry hugged my nose. If you have a dehydrator you can use that instead of the oven.
1.5 lbs of strawberries (which is a carton and a half)
3 Tablespoons of lemon juice
2 pinches of salt
1/2 cup sugar
set oven to 170 °
Bled it all up and spread it out on a splat sheet( preferred method) or parchment paper
Spread the liquid on sheet being sure to leave some space on the edges for easier peeling once dried
If using muffin tins add about 1/2 tablespoon to each cup (maybe a tad more) and spread it out evenly
Check muffin tins after about 1.5 hours and see if it’s dry all the way through
Check splat after about 3 hours
Slice it up! you can roll it up in some parchment paper if your going to eat it later.
